Anthony Bourdain .. I mean this guy just passed today from suicide. To many including myself he lived a dream life. Travel the world.. great friends.. eats whatever the fuck he wants and probably who he wants. Had an 11 yr old daughter ... all of this and commits suicide. I knew he had some issues with drugs and its saddens me. You look at some people and they express such a zest for life and yet you have no idea what is really going on. I just seen an episode where he and some close friends were in Newfoundland. and another where he shot in China. He seemed to get what was good and great in people and so I have to conclude I just don't have a fucking clue.

So the above equation in the title line seems to be totally void of any truth.

Define what a success and what a failure is ?. They isn't such a thing as success or failure really.. everything is a learning exercise. Society seems to think you need multiple partners, wealth and travel to be ''successful'' but yet then in that case why do ''successful'' people kill themselves ?.... then you have people who are poor and live a what some would call a boring but humble life YET are quite happy.

but the truth is Depression is a chemical imbalance that is cause by all the chemicals in food and water and chem trails

people always view or put a negative connotation on suicide especially in western culture but it doesn't have to be sad or negative. He just could have had enough and wanted to check out. What is sad to me are people holding on and becoming something not even close to their original self.

others have to stop being so selfish and just celebrate his life not talk about how he died.

he was on an interview i think when his daughter was about 7 so guessing about 5 years ago and said he looked in the mirror and thought to himself that he was ok .. and worth fighting the demons which had been going on since his teens.

I got layed up pretty bad from sports injuries a few times and I always come out of it having an improved euphoria about just regular stuff I would not have even thought about had it not been for the severe pain .

When I get high I can still feel the old injuries and notice the pain isnt really gone. So I do think people should give time a chance because the brain and the body seem to be able to numb themselves after a period of time.

i disagree with that . Sometimes meds that are prescribed keep you in a state where you remain in a numbed state. When I was taking pain killers for the injury I could see getting hooked on that crap and it just numbs the skull out of you. I always eventually had my brain forget about spots that got injured bad from moto cross , skiing , fights, diving in a quarry and make a swan dive look like a back flop. The bod is still fucked up in spots but the brain eventually figures out that this shit is the new norm.

Whenever I came through a real painful experience my good times were more euphoric. I don't think I am unique to this.

Not saying anything wrong with Anthony cuz i don't have a clue about his life and know he was fighting some serious demons since he was a teenager.
