Why? Its a legit question considering what is happening in China right now-we could well see a resurgence in infections worldwide

COVID is here to stay because they won't euthanize Storm where he is patient 0 by eating that bat from Wuhan China

Only way to stop it is to stop all these immigrants coming in to the country bringing in germs

I also think that the politics in this world will want to keep Covid for while to inflict fear and have their way easy, like mail-in ballot voting which can be easily manipulated.

Depends on your region. China shit the bed with their 'zero covid' policy and refusing any outside vaccination types. Now it is their turn to let it burn through the population like every other country had last year. They had ample data of how that would work by seeing the results that Australia and New Zealand had.

Locally we're seeing a bit of an increase but I would venture that's tied more to events and gatherings.

Compare year over year numbers, in my area we are running at 15% of the cases in that same timeframe. But triple the cases when using a 90 day look back period.

Covid still presents some risk, but it's mitigated by vaccinations and well established treatment protocols. Things are far different now than two years ago. If you're a type 2 diabetic chongus that uses a CPAP to sleep and gets winded walking to the mailbox it's a big concern. Same for those on immunosuppressant treatments like those for some cancers. But as a whole it's not any greater risk than driving on a highway to an otherwise healthy person.

No need to politicize it. Governments are always going to latch onto anything they can twist and contort to use as a hammer to achieve their ends.

I dont mind that people not wearing masks everywhere now. I couldnt say I was perfect with my mask wearing either.

My issue is I work with "kids" that dont give a flying fuck if they get it, if they spread it, they dont care. They can be sick as shit, coughing a lung up, and be like, "its just a cold." (they dont get tested, or even have a rapid test at home, even though you can get them for free by mail.)
They come in anyway, and cough all over the place. One dude literally was losing his voice, still went to work. "its just cause i sleep with the window open." was his excuse....

They will call out sick with "covid" when they want the day off though.... Then want to work 3 days later saying they ok. One dude has used the excuse like 5 times already in the last year......

I had like 6 free government tests. Had the flu a month ago, tested, ok, not covid. Felt sick a little on christmas morning, said let me test myself before i go see my 30-40 people family party.... It was covid, so I didnt go and spread to them....

You could be the laziest person in the world, like myself, and still have a little decency to not help spread it.....

I really hope that it is over. When the first wave hit, I neglected every precaution and got sick. It was very difficult. I felt just terrible, even at one point I thought I was dying. But I got better and I was able to cure the virus. Since then, I have been following all the restrictions and recommendations about masks and social distancing, and everything else. But there is one problem. I got acquainted with an interesting girl on a dating site https://hookup-insider.com/reviews/fling Now I don't know how to go on a date with her. Should I follow all the restrictions and use the mask or can I loosen my own requirements a little, as it seems to me that the pandemic is already on the decline all over the world, if not completely disappeared?

I don't think Covid has gone anywhere, but they just don't pay as much attention to him anymore.
