  • TMB players unite !

So, here I am, trying to figure out how this god forsaken kill point system works, anymore.

Anyone that is familiar with the golden days , with PissheadS/UML/Omertà, etcs
Will remember the old wars, and how fun it was.

How you knew when a war was good when there were whole families , or cities completely 00d, those chatzy conversations, during war time, the feeling of looking st a family, and they are completely wiped out. I recall everything , of the sorts.

However, I do not recall what implemented the change. What made the rule changes? Was it the beast of IU and RU coming in, and dominating ranks?
I hate sending hate mail, and having to be like"Yea, well we stole that rank" I want to see the days where before we made a family , we would hit our family members ops, and knock out our ops, so we could control or net worth, not the "who can build bigger"

What are the chances of re doing the system, for one round , or even half a round, back to the old days , or is this what we are forced into, now? To be the best, we must do build offs, and 0 each other, rather than hitting ops?

Are we not able to do a system where one family can go into war , and only op hits on that family is allowed, along with only taking out a certain amount of credits?

I'm just a old veteran, trying to go back to Vietnam , where I could burn someone alive, instead of being a civilian , and having to become a fast food worker, frying fries, or flipping hamburgers.

slightly before that IU period some guy named Islander used deep pockets to zero the entire game and keep it as such

when it was prevented one guy could do such a thing again IU resumed that practise as a family...

...the game has been recovering from that ever since.

V will never recover. Rules were changed to make it easier for lazy fucks like him to get a donut. His change of rules when people actually listened to him caused the biggest exodus in the game in history. This included ICS the family that adopted V to go down the toilet and into the septic tank for evaporation.

Prior to Islander there was Cyp, Arc Angel and Goldengate. The only difference is that they never zeroed the whole game... use to pick a city or family and had their fun that way.

You must be thinking of Pope.. his battle trophy suggestion is what killed things for the killers.

In theory, it sounded good... but once it was introduced into game play it turned out to be awful and was short lived.

That and transfers. I am no specialist in the old killing game although I did get a couple free killer ones in the old system and it was better except for the boosting. Taking away an entire category of the game to my own view was a mistake. The Battle Trophies was cancer and a huge waste of money. Keep it simple and have variety and have the people that work their arse off and smart win shit.

Killing ops was diferent, they were very easy to kill and most families at war had a sort of honour code not to kill ops whatever the du masacre was. All knew that once they hit ops first they woud loose their ops after and therefore loosing some power at the eor results.
Thing is back then if two powers loose their ops another hand full of powerfull families woud take over, there were many ppl playing the game..nowadays 1 powerhouse loosing all ops means they can still get a bronze as default cause not many more to take a position.
Those were the golden days not only because of the rules but the amount of ppl playing. The rules may not be feasible with current population.
Also, some ppl and their credit cards did ruined the game for overpowering, but as for that not much could be done..guess it was the golden days for tmb owners too.

Hahaha. Supporters vs freeplayers.. Now that was fun times. The golden days is why i came back after being gone for MANY years.. Back then it was family vs family and honor was huge. You banked someone in the family because you wanted to bank them.. Yet you also kept what you could so that even you can make rounds and get awards. Now the loyalty and honor are gone.. Its do as the boss says and send up all your earnings to whoever the boss likes more.. Thats not a family its a government. We need a round of old rules and old ways.. The game was much more fun back then.
