  • USA l-- lies -- lies --lies

I watch a bit of the politics in the USA because the company I work for in Canada does well when the USA does well.

So in watching the convention and CNN and other networks that are either for one party or the other and extremely biassed.

The amounts of lies that both parties bring is incredulous. The common theme tho is that the news media people never seem to stay on the lie and grill the liar. Person after person at the convention stand on a podium and just outright spew lie after lie hoping I guess that the dumb americans don't get it. Certainly there are some that will fall for this. But I know a lot of americans and most can tell the difference between the lies and the truth. Isnt it now a losing battle to be continuing to tell lies to people that are sick and tired of the gridlock and being made to be thought of as a simple shit that won't know the truth from a lie?

I know all politics is rampant with lies but holy shit some of the crap is so out there it makes it insulting to the average american I am assuming. Also when the speech for example that was clearly plagiarism by melania trump, the response is to tell more lies and pile them higher and higher. Mathematically to get that many words in a speech of 3500 total words back to back identical is the same as winning a lottery that has odds in the high trillions to one. Its fucking ridiculous to start spinnnig it thinking people are that stupid.

    What do you think ?
