      There's a couple fighters out there with better records. They probably didn't fight anybody or it was before blacks could be in the ring with them. Otherwise Ali is the greatest pound for pound

          His name was cassius clay he changed it to mohamed Ali. He we the greatest mouth in boxing... Don't think he was the greatest boxer. But may he rest in peace

            Ali's greatness doesn't come solely from the ring.. Some of it does. If he absolutely sucked at his craft we wouldn't have this thread up.. But his boxing skills were secondary to his social stand . During a time when blacks were regulated to second class citizenship and told they were less than human here comes someone who embodied what a lot of black folks wanted to be.. Big, strong, rich, and most importantly unwilling to accept being ostracized for the color of his skin..sticking true to himself...his greatness dwarfs boxing..prime mike Tyson might whoop his ass.. But Ali made it ok to stand up for what you thought was right in a way no athelete had done before. That's why he's the best ☺

                Nicely sad drob. But i think ali could beat tyson. He wouldve out smarted him wore him down. Frustrated him caught him slipling. But far as greatest. Sugar ray robinson probably pound for pound best in ring guy ever.
