Other side of highway are more deer, black bear and wild boars.
      It's a menagerie of sorts.

          They reek havoc occasionally.
They are known to get into cars and garages.
          They love garbage cans.
For the most part, we stay out of THEIR way.

I had one of them pileated woodpeckers in my backyard and it destroyed my cherry tree. Those birds velocity of stricking a tree gets to 1500 Gs of force .. average fall in a rollercoaster is 5 gs. Car manufacturers use the design of their head for safety engineering on cars.

I put out 37 light spots in the back yard for night time and now all the back windows arent just a black curtain at night. Can light up the trees with rgb spots 12 months of the year and light up trees any color. Awesome transformation for night time.

We don't get bears but we do have coyote and wolf issues.

I just put out a couple bird feeders with some premier bird food and during the day when I am around I just rigged the pole with a slinky for the squirrels . They jump up and then grab on to the slinky and the weight drops them back down and freaks them out. Kind of reminds me of KS trying to win a jackpot.
