Would be interesting to know if anyone out there started in a training grounds family, and where they are now.

I was wandering about them aswell and think whether they was gonna get started up again and why they now arnt any... its funny how we think alike isn't it....

I didn't start out in one but ended up there for a round or two, I did not learn anything lol

I started out in training grounds family num 2 not sure who was the boss but they laid out the basics pretty good for me while there

from talking to people from them. i got the impression that they were always ran by vets that couldn't do anything on the game but thought they had some secret knowledge.

oh and they wouldn't be on much leaving the rookies wondering wtf. I think training ground families turned more people away from the game than it push people more into the game.

I challenged a "boss" of a training grounds family to provide me with a name of a good player that "graduated" from a training grounds family and went on to accomplish anything worth mentioning... needless to say all I got in response was hatemail and the motherfucker telling me to mind my own business basically. I would like to be allowed to be a boss of a training grounds family with little or no compensation whatsoever. I bet I could produce far better results.

I remember chatting with a few of the trainees, the ones who dared to attack me. I gave them all some constructive criticism on hitting fast and getting the hell out.

This is to provide some information to the returning vets and also the new players that may have no clue about what means the Trainning Grounds Families.

The Trainning Grounds it was a great idea to provide some interactivity to the new players, it was something like give a warm TMB Welcome to each new player that join the game. Also we have as goal provide information and guide the new players that join the TMB site, paying a special attenction in the new players that return (log back) in the same round to increase and incentivate the TMB customers base.

Unfortunately, the majority of the new players that log the game just go to the idle Status for the rest of the round. Also, some of the new players just go to regular families after join the TG’s families (what is great) for a better game experience which the Trainning Grounds can’t provide for clear ethical reasons. The TG’s families are, in essence, STAFF families controlled by STAFF members that can’t provide family targets or aim families goals, what makes everything a little bit more hard in the teach process.

No one can deny the great effort made by all the STAFF that expent time there, because its not an easy job recruit new players for many hours in daily basis and also complete the TG task about guide and train new players with all the ethical limitations that we had there.

Shout out to all the STAFF that work in the Trainning Grounds:

Doppelganger, UncleOldSchool, Righteous, Mohican, Stark, Prodigy, HotSpot, Commando, Dragoon, Prism77, Siren, Shock, and HItmarker.

I may have missed one or another name, but this don’t makes this missed ones less important than the ones mentioned above.
