  • Should they supsend Bill Belichick ?

NFL determined 11 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds per square inch.

    Are the Patriots a Cheats?

Remove the entire team let the colts go even though they were playing bad in the game anyways. The only way to stop cheating is to be as harsh as possible with the discipline. Fining players or staff is nothing look how much money they are played a year.

It's neither an advantage nor a disadvantage to play with under inflated balls when both teams have to use the same ball.

Actually both teams have 12 balls that are used by their offense so how is it not an advantage? There is 30 balls used in the game 12 for the patriots offense 12 for colts offense 6 for kicks only.

And the referees touch those ball after every play, sometimes more than the players themselves. Therefore if it such an advantage why was this not caught during the pregame inspection of the game balls during the course of the game ??
Bunch of BS, some reporter is trying to make a name for himself !

this is so minor, yes, against the rules but this is such a technicality.

It is not minor it gives them a better chance at catching and throwing the ball.

refs handle the balls through out the game if it wasn't minor they would have done something before half time.

the teams get to work their balls they bring so they're not brand new balls they get to put some wear on them to make them easier to throw and catch.

again yes against the rules but not a big deal. fine them if you can prove they tempered with the balls the refs signed off on but that should be it.

They should be yanked from the Super Bowl.

Two former players one a QB and the other a running back was given a ball that was two pounds lighter and the other one at that had 13 psi. And the former QB noticed a difference in between the two footballs. He said that he could throw the ball between 10 to 15 yards with the ball that is lighter weight. Even the running back said he would have better control over the ball when carrying it. So if two former players notices a difference then how does someone who is playing on a regular bases not notice a difference.
