I'm going into this with the expectation that this post will either be deleted or frozen at some point in time and I'm perfectly okay with that (most likely by Ink-Nazi). As a long time player who has had his share of accounts frozen for drunken douchebaggary, I may not be entitled to the following questions but I'm going to ask them with the hope that we can have an open conversation as to what has taken place over the last few months.

Can we get an open and honest conversation from you in regards to what is happening with the forum take over as well as the constant requests to update passwords? In theory, we're all adults here so one can easily interpret the repeated requests to update passwords and the forum flooding with a concern in regards to security of personal information present on TMB. Can you provide us an update as to what has taken place over the last few months as it's apparent you're working hard to improve security on the site but we're all (mostly) in the dark as to what the challenges have been.

Pretty sure that's not staff bashing at all. He is making an observation he deems to be true

Personally I would never make that assumption about staff I know they are always on the up and up and never have an outside agenda

Now if he said ink is a power hungry mod who abuses her power on a daily basis.

there is no forum takeover just some idiot spamming for a rule change that is not going to happen.

the site code and forum software is old, many functions don't work properly unless we create coding patches. So it gets hard to ban spammers from making new accounts anymore. This is expensive business, to make custom things and code and we cannot afford doing/paying for it indefinitely....

So we opted to recode and upgrade the entire site code AND graphics for a mobile version and we will also add a new version of vbulletin and updated chat version shortly. We have been working on all that for 7 months now and almost there.

We did some changes on the forums to try to curb the spammer and we are monitoring if its helping. I left a brief note on the main page about it, why there is a sign up everytime you login to the game. It takes 2 secs to do, enter player name and game pass. Unfortunately, we had to make decision either that or more and more spam.
