This thread is closed, and in so doing, i would just like to say to the looters, i DO hear you, I HOPE you hear me also. i am looking at things like adding BOT's to turbo, making up special rounds with different rules maybe once a month....But i cannot just act on your suggestions of what players think is good for them but I know will have a bad effect on the well being of the business.
Thank you

It's not easy to try to carry across all the business aspects about the actual overheads it takes to run this game.
This game has a clear business model we use for years and we are thankful to those who do support, and also thankful to those loyal free players who play and spend their time here and like the game. Remember this is a game but its also a business and if spending is not your thing, or if you can't afford it, don't knock those who can and do and want to support the site as their chosen hobby...this has been the age old issue of TMB...gamers will always try to push the limits.
We want to keep the game alive for other future visitors who may come to like the game...we know we cannot keep everyone happy all the time and keep the business running over this 12 years that it has been around. We do know we have to evolve a lot of things and we cant do it without supporters. Supporters would have a boring game without free players, we also understand this, just, to the free players: please don't expect the same privileges that those who spend get.
We will work over time to try to develop a better game model and right now there is a lot of upgrades that is required to see the game into the next 5 year phase of its development. We will get there but we can't do it without sustained income. Just like every other business operates in this world.
Thank you.

Now I am just playing devils advocate here, in response to the above: build your own game and see how long you can maintain that business model. Many other games use the same model where people who spend and support the game they like, get a clear advantage.

Nah surprisingly its well balanced. Foe looters and collectors alike i think. There hasn't been looting like this since the bots really came out

Honestly, I ask the entire community: does the current rankings reflect that the game is unbalanced?? Here is the current union and family rankings, with 2 days left: what do you guys think?
I highlighted the looting families current ranking standings as this is pretty much the subject matter of this thread...

Let's call them "Some looters"....recently came to me to try to complain about the bots having too little cash, that the game is unbalanced and unfair to looters and that they "want to make a difference" in the game, if i push UP the amount of cash for BOTS/bots value, then its "more fair" to them and allows them to "challenge and push the big spenders, who just rotate the JP anyway"
I wouldn't really say anything if i didn't notice some of these people talking to other players to make me and the game look bad: saying we only care about the big supporters and don't care about free players and smaller guys...
If we all check the rankings right now: Currently looters ARE ON TOP of the UNIONS AND FAMILY RANKINGS, so how is that an unbalanced game? I also said its unfair to supporters who spend every round to fight for the JP, if we push UP the BOTS amount, it's like stacking the house, to try to make supporters spend even more than they do.
I created the BOTS because it gives looters something to do, and the game never had BOT's before. However: I must be mindful of the supporters who buy credits, not to stack the house too much. Already what we got regarding BOT's is a thin line, but i do believe that we must give looters a goal also, and again don't forget, the game never had BOT's.
Right now looting has quite an edge over collecting, in all the playing levels 1-4. The current rankings every round does reflect this. So I also heard the point: because looters are active every day, they should make more money than collectors....the fact of the money making numbers is: that across all the different playing levels, looting FAR out earns collecting.
I didn't suck the amounts of bots and cash they make out of my arsehole. We need the game to be sort of attractive to all types of players, collectors, looters, killers, supporters, to stand some sort of chance to keep players numbers ok to keep the game going. The business also needs supporters, the game overheads is expensive and also to update very old code, graphics is really expensive - this is a business that needs to survive, as well as a game that you all play, and everyone and every aspect needs to be "kept happy" here.
Guys: If you don't spend for the JP then you cannot expect me to make rules that is gonna put you in that bracket.
SO basically the way I see it is: please people, DO NOT come to me to try to ask me to make the game a certain way that favors your style of play, i simply am not going to do it. Its not right. Think about what you are asking here.
Also please do NOT go around misrepresenting the situation, when you don't get your way. Try to play the game with some brains: build a variety of players and find or attract your own supporters and team with them.
It's not about that the business doesn't care about the little guys, the fact is the game is balanced and i refuse to make rules FOR ANYONE, just to suit their style of play.
