How to Max and Calculate your Kills:

Over the past few rounds, I have received questions to clarify some of the new rules recently implemented. “I’ve been hit 200 times. I thought you could only be hit 10 times at the max.” ”I won the attack but got 0 kill points.” This blog will help address these issues.

In Round 327, the maxing rules were slightly changed. In order for a player to be maxed, they must have ten (10) attacks in. At every top of the hour, your attack in counter is decremented by 1. You can, at most, incur ten (10) attacks in. This is when the questions come in.

In some situations, an attack is not the same thing as an attack IN. In order for an attack to qualify as an attack in, you must LOSE the hit and 0.25% of your networth must be taken. Let’s break this down a little..

Take your networth. Divide your networth by 400 (this is the same thing as multiplying it by 0.25%). This is the amount that must be taken for an attack to count as an attack in.

Let’s create an example.

Say your networth is $1 billion.
1,000,000,000 / 400 = 2,500,000 or 2.5 million. In order for an attack to count as an attack in, 2.5 mil must be taken from you. This amount is the total amount lost, which includes DUs, Ops, Guns, Drugs, Cars, and Planes.

Networth

Here is how networth is calculated:
Card Dealers ($2,500) + Whores ($2,000) + Bootleggers ($1,500) + Hustlers ($1,000) + Punks ($500) + Hitmen ($1,000) + Thugs ($500) + Bodyguards ($300) + cash + bank + Chrysler 300 ($8,000) + S-Class long ($40,000) + Gulfstream Jet ($40,000) + Boeing 737-400 ($250,000) + alcohol ($1) + Weed ($2) + Coke ($5) + Glock ($400) + Shotgun ($800) + Uzi ($2,000) + AK-47 ($4,000) = Networth.

The above paragraph can help identify how much each item contributes to your networth. This way, you can strategically arrange it so an attack will indeed qualify as an attack in, no matter where you’re hit. With each attack you win, you can take at most 5% of each type. For example, you take 5% of the cash on hand if you win the attack. You take 5% of all drugs if you win the attack.

Hopefully this will clear up some of the issues regarding the “inability” to be maxed. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here.

So you won the attack, but you didn’t get any kills for it? Or you lost the attack and you did get kills for it. How is this possible?

The calculation of kills is based on the DU type multiplier and Gun type multiplier, of both parties. But basically, the # of DUs you kill, minus the # of DUs you lose while attacking is what you get as a new kill count now.

This is a long calculation, but I will try to break it down as best as possible.

Let’s focus on each gun by itself. We will then add the four totals together to get the total kill count. Please note that if the kill count calculator equates to a negative number, the count recorded is 0, not a negative number. If you kill unarmed DUs, you get 0 kill count for those kills.

Hitmen will always take the best gun available. Thugs will then take the next best gun available. Finally, Bodyguards will pick up whatever guns are left. Sometimes you will hit a player who has a mix of guns so this must be figured out appropriately.

1. Defender is armed with AKs:
{[(1.5)*(#Hitmen Killed)] + [(1.0)*(#Thugs Killed)] +

[(0.5)*(#Bodyguards Killed)]}

2. Defender is armed with UZIs:

{[(0.45)*(#Hitmen Killed)] + [(0.3)*(#Thugs Killed)] +

[(0.15)*(#Bodyguards Killed)]}

3. Defender is armed with Shotguns:

{[(0.15)*(#Hitmen Killed)] + [(0.1)*(#Thugs Killed)] +

[(0.05)*(#Bodyguards Killed)]}

4. Defender is armed with Glocks:
{[(0.045)*(#Hitmen Killed)] + [(0.03)*(#Thugs Killed)] +

[(0.015)*(#Bodyguards Killed)]}

Now we need to figure out what to subtract from the DUs that we lost while attacking.

5. Attacker is armed with AKs:
{[(1.5)*(#Hitmen Killed)] + [(1.0)*(#Thugs Killed)] +

[(0.5)*(#Bodyguards Killed)]}

6. Attacker is armed with UZIs:
{[(0.45)*(#Hitmen Killed)] + [(0.3)*(#Thugs Killed)] +

[(0.15)*(#Bodyguards Killed)]}

7. Attacker is armed with Shotguns:
{[(0.15)*(#Hitmen Killed)] + [(0.1)*(#Thugs Killed)] +

[(0.05)*(#Bodyguards Killed)]}

8. Attacker is armed with Glocks:
{[(0.045)*(#Hitmen Killed)] + [(0.03)*(#Thugs Killed)] +

[(0.015)*(#Bodyguards Killed)]}

The kill count displayed on your profile will be: (1+2+3+4) – (5+6+7+8).

When I say this, you must take into account how many DUs with AKs that you killed (and what type of DU they were) added to how many DUs with Uzis, Shotguns, and Glocks respectively, also taking into account what type of DU they were. You then repeat the process for the amount of DUs that you lost.

This is a long and fairly complicated process, but it explains how you can lose a hit, but still make kills off of it as well as win a hit but get no kills out of it.

Feel free to try and calculate it yourself, or you can take our word for it. :]

I hope this blog was informative to some of you who were having problems understanding why you didn’t max or why you got the kill count you did. Feel free to post any questions here and I will try to answer them as promptly as possible.
